Premiere 'Nice To Meet You!'

On September the 25th 2021, the show that presents Ivgi&Greben company to the public will premiere in Stadsschouwburg De Harmonie in Leeuwarden. The choreographers duo Ivgi&Greben have established themselves as a new dance company in Leeuwarden. With their show entitled ‘Nice to meet you!’ they present themselves and their eight dancers to the audience. After a long career of creating dance performances for companies all over the world, they now have their own company in Friesland. With this, Johan Greben brings his extensive artistic experience home to the place where he first started to dance as a child.

‘Nice to meet you!’ is a dance performance with a lyrical choreography that presents the talents of the individual dancers in a series of solos and duets. The atmosphere is intimate, the movement language is earthy and grounded: Uri Ivgi, originally from Israel, adds modern dance to the mix and Johan Greben, originally from Leeuwarden, a more classical approach. Together they unite extremes.
