Ivgi&Greben is looking for volunteers

Since the establishment of Ivgi&Greben in Leeuwarden in 2020, the number of performances that are played – in Fryslân and in the rest of the country – has increased. Moreover, more and more activities are being organized in their own studio in the Blokhuispoort. 

We are therefore looking for volunteers who can support us in various activities: 

-> Drivers (m/f/x) 

-> Hosts (m/f/x)

As a Driver, you transport the dancers to the theater on the days that you are available and you provide handyman services on site. You have a driving license B, you can easily drive a small van to transport people and you especially enjoy being on the road with a – partly English speaking – group of dancers. The moments you help us are during a tour. We plan the days in consultation. Ivgi&Greben plays all over the country, so you will sometimes be on the road with us from noon to around midnight.

As a Host you receive various guests in our studio during various projects and presentations. Sometimes it is youth or children, but you may also receive politicians or other groups of people. In some cases you provide catering. You deal with people easily, because you are an important link in building our network.

In both positions you work closely with our Production Manager, who gives you instructions. 

What can you expect from us? You become part of a small, close-knit and enthusiastic team. You gain experience at a professional organization within the dance sector, you get access to our performances, you can participate in our weekly workshop All You Can Dance! and you will be invited to joint activities. During our events we provide your meals and your travel expenses are reimbursed. A combination of both functions is negotiable.
