What We Leave Behind

In What We Leave Behind, Ivgi&Greben trace the marks we leave behind and the echoes of the past that continue to reverberate within us. Six dancers move between looking forward and looking back, in a continuous dialogue between present and past, art and life.
At the heart of the piece is a colourful set of canvases, constructed from the posthumous work of the painter Ruven Levav, which transforms into a shelter and a source of new imagination. From this place, personal actions and painterly tableaux unfold.
A compelling dance performance about legacy, belonging and the capacity for transformation – about what we carry with us, what we leave behind, and how nothing ever fully disappears.
