Behind the Scenes: Labweek with Rebecca Laufer & Mats van Rossum

From 17 to 21 November, the Ivgi&Greben studio in the Blokhuispoort, Leeuwarden will be entirely dedicated to LabWeek – an intensive residency where dancers, choreographers, and the artistic team come together to explore new ideas and movement.
The week concludes with a festive presentation evening on Friday, 21 November at 7:30 PM, offering the audience an exclusive behind-the-scenes look.

LabWeek is a five-day research project bringing together the full Ivgi&Greben dance company with guest choreographers Rebecca Laufer & Mats van Rossum, and dancers from the Poetic Disasters Club, the junior company of Club Guy & Roni.

This special northern collaboration merges new artistic, technical, and choreographic perspectives: the virtuosity of Ivgi&Greben’s dancers meets the youthful energy of the Poetic Disasters Club. With coaching from Uri Ivgi, Johan Greben, and dramaturg Judith Schoneveld, LabWeek provides an inspiring boost for the new production Laufer & Van Rossum are developing for NITE and their junior company, Poetic Disasters Club.

During the presentation evening on Friday, 21 November, you’ll get an exclusive insight into the creative process Behind the Scenes. Rebecca and Mats will share their experiences, the dancers will talk about their explorations, and of course, several dance excerpts will be performed live on stage.
