For Ivgi&Greben, De Voorlopers is a representation of a powerful idealism and alternative paths in art and life. In the current era of negativism, they want to put the positive, liberating power of ideals first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The liberating power of ideals<\/em>
Five dancers arrive as firstlings on a distant planet where they will settle. There’s nothing yet. What are they going to do? How do they relate to each other? What values \u200b\u200band ideals will form the basis of their community? There is creation and demolition, there is abundance and also scarcity. It is a laboratory of shifting relationships between people and between people and their environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
